Middelvlei's wines have won numerous prestigious awards through the years, upholding the quality and tradition of this beautiful family farm. The Party Bike wine trip takes you on an exploration of the vineyards and farm, stopping at designated view points for a wine tasting. Along route you can drink Middelvlei wines and listen to music of your choice. The route is easy, you can either pedal or let the electric Party Bike do the pedal work for you.

Middelvlei Estate, known for its hospitality and special farm atmosphere, offers a personal, unforgettable and authentic Stellenbosch Winelands experience for the whole family. By producing superb quality wines, brothers Tinnie and Ben Momberg are continuing the family's legacy of winemaking that has lasted for over 100 years. The estate covers 160 ha of which 130 are planted with Pinotage, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Chardonnay.

Book a videographer as an added extra to record your experience, and supply you with a five minute video summary of your time out with friends. A guitarist can also be booked if you would like an interactive musical experience, choosing songs from the 60's, 70's and 80's. Drop off and collection of the group is also available at an added cost.

Itinerary

The Partybike is the largest e-bike in South Africa, used within the tourism industry for social events with a difference. The Partybike can take a maximum of 12 passengers, 8 on peddling points, and 4 on resting points. a Five speed gearbox makes easy work of any inclines, and a solar powered electrical motor can do all the work if you choose to rest and just enjoy a cold beverage at the bar counter, whilst enjoying the scenery, the company, and listening to music playlists of your choice.
